It may have been an exhibition, but Friday's quad at the Viking Beach Volleyball Courts featured four of the top programs in California and generated plenty of excitement for the 2025 beach season. West Valley hosted Feather River, Fresno City and Sierra, a veritable who's-who of elite beach (and indoor, for that matter) programs, all of whom are contenders for team and pairs titles in 2025.

The regular season gets underway Feb. 6 for the Vikings with home matches against Lassen and San Joaquin Delta. First serve against the Cougars is 10am, while the Vikings and the Mustangs take to the sand at 2pm.
