The Vikings invaded Santa Cruz's Main Beach for a Coast Conference quad against Gavilan and Fresno City Friday. WVC swept the Gavilan College Rams 5-0 in the opener, but suffered a similar fate versus the Fresno City Rams in the late match. The Vikings (2-6, 1-1 Coast) have a week of practice before returning to Main Beach March 7 to take on De Anza (3-8, 0-1) and College of San Mateo (1-6, 0-1).
