WVC offense erupts in huge 9-2 win over LA Harbor at Ventura Tournament
Thursday afternoon women's soccer ignited an offensive explosion in their 9-2 win over LA Harbor.
The scoring started with an own goal by LA Harbor in the 8th minute. It seemed that the game would be pretty close as the offense was put to a halt for just about 30 minutes.
Finally in the 37th minute, Ximena Heredia scored the Vikings first real goal of the match to make it 2-0. The floodgates opened after that.
The Vikings put one in the back of the net almost every 10 minutes and saw scoring from six different players across the lineup.
Erupting for six goals in the second half of the match, the Vikings cemented an astounding win.
Ximena Heredia and Diana Garcia both tallied two goals in the win.
WVC opened up the Ventura Tournament with a bang and hoped to continue the impressive offense which has led to a 2-0 start to the season.
